Most of the people are confused with the installation of video cards for PC. This is a usual problem that most people suffer from. The installation of video cards for PC is not hard, but for a newbie, this may be really troubling. When you buy a new graphics card for your PC, you must know how to install it properly. If you do not the proper procedure to install it on your PC, you may probably cause damage to your system. Therefore, you must take proper installation guide before installing the PC video cards. What graphics cards do is that they enhance the graphics perception of the PC. With the added graphics to your PC, you can easily enhance the graphics of your PC. This way, you can play high definition games and videos too. Usually, people install new graphics cards on their PCs to play games. However, this is not only to play the games, you can also install the graphic cards on your PC for better video perception.

 Guide to install video cards for PC 
Here, are the instructions that you need to follow while installing the video cards for PC.
  •  Turn the computer off and unplug the power cables from its back.
  •   Unscrew all the computer nuts that hold your computer side panel. You need to unscrew only one side panel. Do not remove all the screws. Only from the one panel.
  •  Lay the computer on the side and locate the slot where graphics card has to be installed. There are specific slots for specific cards. Make sure that you have chosen the appropriate card slot. PCI or PCI-Express slots are different from AGP slots. So, make sure that you are adjusting it on the right slot.
  •  You have to remove the dust plate from the back of the computer. Unscrew it properly and remove it.
  • There is a pre-installed graphics card that is installed by the manufacturer. You have to remove it before adding the newer graphics card. Remove the graphics card and make sure that the video ports are truly visible through the back of the computer.
  •  Now replace the screw to fasten the graphics card into place. If the graphics card requires some external power plug, you can locate the free power club that comes out of your power supply. Insert the end of power cable to the appropriate plug on the graphics card.
  • Replace the side panel, of the computer. Place the screws again in the appropriate place and tighten them properly with the screwdriver. Plug the power cables again to the computer. Plug all the cables into appropriate ports on the graphics card. Turn on the monitor finally.
  • Allow the operating system to load.
  •  Insert the proper drivers for the video cards for PC through the driver disc. You can easily install the driver software by following on-screen instructions. When it is done, restart the computer.
  •   Finally, your new graphics card will be installed on your computer. This is the easiest method to install video cards for PC.
